CapuWare Event Log 3.1 Released

Houston, September 7, 2010 - CapuWare, the software division of CapuTech Inc., is pleased to announce the immediate release of version 3.1 of Event Log - the industry's leading electronic logbook technology. 

Based on completely open Microsoft technology such as SharePoint and SQL Server, this release further enhances Event Log's position as the logbook of choice for the process industry.  With over 300 installations to date, this latest release provides some often requested features resulting from our on-going deployments.

New features introduced in this release include:

• The Duty Roster - for capturing shift personnel information.
• Universal Reporting Interface - now allows for third party reporting packages to access Event Log data in addition to the standard SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• One Minute Time Field - to compliment the standard 5 minute date/time field included with SharePoint.  This allows for greater resolution preferred by many clients.
• Several interface and usability enhancements.
