Another Massive Expansion with Existing Client

Houston, January 2, 2012 - CapuTech, Inc., a leading supplier of industrial intelligence solutions, today announced it has entered into a contract with a leading chemicals producer for a major expasion of its automation infrastructure at its facility in Freeport, TX.  This client previously engaged CapuTech in the initial project at one of their three plants.  This project involves the other two plants with a significantly greater scope than the original project.

The project involves several components:

  • supply and configuration of a new OPC-based plant historian.
  • supply and configuration of web visualization technology for plant graphics, trends, reports and calculations.
  • supply and configuration of Alarm Managment technology.
  • supply and configuration of Control Loop Monitoring technology.
  • supply and configuration of CapuTech's Event Log logbook software.
  • network architecture design including interfaces with the DCS, PLCs, data recorders and the environmental reporting system.

The overall scope is one of the largest in CapuTech's history and will span the majority of the coming year.
